How agency commissions work

For agency accounts, Create Suite automatically calculates commissions on every deal and makes it easy to generate commission invoices that keep your finances transparent and organized.

Setting commission rates

You can set a default commission rate for your agency in Settings (for example, 15% or 20%). This rate is automatically applied to new deals. You can also override the rate on individual deals if a specific creator or brand has a different arrangement.

How commissions are calculated

When a deal is created with a total value, Create Suite splits the amount into the creator's net payment and the agency commission. These figures update automatically if the deal value changes during negotiation. Both the creator and the agency can see the breakdown at all times.

Generating commission invoices

Once a deal moves to the Paid stage, you can generate a commission invoice from the Commissions tab. This invoice documents the agency fee for that specific deal and can be sent to the creator for their records or used internally for accounting.

Monthly commission reports

The Commissions tab also includes a monthly summary showing total commissions earned, broken down by creator. You can export this data to CSV for your accountant or bookkeeping software.
