Understanding deal stages

Every deal in Create Suite moves through a series of stages that represent its lifecycle. Understanding these stages helps you manage your workflow and forecast upcoming income.

Default stages

  • Lead — A brand has reached out or you have pitched them, but nothing is confirmed yet.
  • Negotiation — Terms are being discussed. Rates, deliverables, usage rights, and timelines are still in flux.
  • Contracted — Both parties have agreed to terms and a contract has been signed or verbally confirmed.
  • In Progress — Content creation and delivery is underway.
  • Delivered — All deliverables have been submitted to the brand for review.
  • Invoiced — An invoice has been sent and you are awaiting payment.
  • Paid — Payment has been received and the deal is complete.
  • Lost — The deal did not move forward.

Moving between stages

Drag and drop deal cards on the Pipeline board to move them between stages. You can also change the stage from within the deal detail panel. Every stage change is logged in the deal's activity history so you always have a record of when transitions happened.

Filtering and sorting

Use the filter bar at the top of the Pipeline to view deals by stage, brand, value range, or date. This is especially useful when you want to see only your active work or check which deals are awaiting payment.
